Choose Your Finish

All Xignature Plate Holders and Disc Holders are supplied standard in our signature Obsidian Duo finish, combining Gloss Black and Graphite Matte for a clean OEM+ appearance.

This upgrade allows you to customize the finish colour of your Xignature holder during production.

Custom finishes are applied to the main holder body components only and do not affect the emblem or logo colour selected on the holder product page.

Please note: Selecting this upgrade will override the standard holder finish supplied with the product.

How the Finish Upgrade Works

  • Plate Holders: The finish upgrade applies to the outer frame, inlay section, and emblem surround area at the bottom of the holder
  • Disc Holders: The finish upgrade applies to the outer frame and emblem surround area of the holder
  • The emblem, logo, or lettering colour itself is not affected by this upgrade
  • Emblem colours remain controlled by the colour selection made on the main product page

Custom Colour Information

Custom colours are limited to available material options.

If you select a custom colour request such as blue, red, green, or another colour family, our design team will contact you with the currently available material options within that colour range for approval.

Because materials vary depending on supplier availability, exact colour matching cannot always be guaranteed.

If a satisfactory colour option cannot be found for your order, the finish upgrade charge will be refunded.

Important Notes

  • This is an upgrade only and does not include a physical plate holder or disc holder
  • Must be purchased together with a compatible Xignature product in the same order
  • Upgrades purchased separately from products will not be applied and may be refunded
  • This upgrade is custom manufactured to order
  • Custom finishes may increase turnaround time depending on material availability and production complexity
  • Once production has started, the configuration cannot be changed or added afterward
  • All customized upgrades are non-refundable once applied to production

Will the Plate Holders fit my car and plates?

Yes. Our standard fit is the South African Long plate size of 520 x 113 mm, which is used on most modern cars.

If your plates are a different size, you must purchase a plate holder size upgrade so we can resize your holder to the correct plate size. If you are unsure which size you have, you are welcome to send us a photo and measurements and we will guide you.

How long will my order take?

Orders placed from Friday to Thursday are typically manufactured and shipped on Friday (approximately 1–5 working days, depending on when your order is placed). This aligns with our Monday to Thursday production schedule, followed by quality checks, packaging, and dispatch on Fridays. This timeline applies to standard plate holders available on our website.

Orders that include special requests, custom modifications, or unique designs may require additional time (approximately 5–10 working days). While we aim to keep them within the same weekly cycle, they may only be completed and dispatched the following Friday to allow for proper design, testing, and quality control.

Please note: These lead times refer to production and dispatch only and do not include shipping or delivery times.

Delays may also occur if we require additional information and do not receive a timely response.

Can I return my order?

Yes, we offer a 14-day return window on standard, non-custom or modified products. Items must be unused, uninstalled, and returned in original packaging, with the request submitted through our Returns Portal.

Custom or personalised products cannot be returned once production has started.

If approved for change of mind or incorrect selection, a 25% handling and restocking fee applies. Return shipping is only covered if the item was incorrect or arrived damaged.

Yes. If you’re unsure about fitment, sizing, or options, you’re welcome to reach out before placing your order.

We recommend first reviewing the product page, as most questions are already answered there.
