Refund policy
Xignature products are built to order.
Due to the custom nature of our automotive accessories and our structured production process, specific conditions apply to all returns, exchanges, and refunds.
Please review this policy carefully before submitting a request.
1. Order Changes & Modifications
Orders enter our automated production system immediately after checkout.
For this reason, no changes can be made once an order is placed.
Please carefully review your selections, including Series, Badge, Size, Finish, and Shipping Details before completing your purchase.
We are not responsible for incorrect selections made at checkout.
2. Return Eligibility
Return requests must be submitted within 14 days of confirmed delivery.
To qualify for review:
- Items must be unused, uninstalled, and undamaged
- Items must be returned in original packaging
- Proof of purchase is required
- Requests must be submitted through the Xignature Returns Portal
- Requests submitted via WhatsApp, email, chat, or social media will not be processed
Returns or exchanges will not be accepted for:
- Custom-made or personalised products, including custom text or logos
- Sale or clearance items
- Modified holders, including drilled, altered, or riveted products
- Accessories, including tape kits, magnets, screw kits, or mounting hardware
3. After 14 Days
General returns for change of mind or incorrect selection are only valid within 14 days of confirmed delivery.
If an issue arises after the 14-day period, a request must still be submitted through the Xignature Returns Portal.
Requests submitted after 14 days will be handled on a case-by-case basis and will only be considered where a verified manufacturing fault is present.
The issue must not be caused by installation, misuse, modification, wear and tear, or customer influence.
Refunds are not available after 14 days.
If approved, exchanges or replacements may be offered at Xignature’s discretion.
4. Change of Mind or Incorrect Selection
If approved within the 14-day return window, the following conditions apply:
- A 25% handling and restocking fee applies to all refunds and exchanges
- The product must be returned in resellable condition
- Secure packaging with a minimum of 4cm protective material on all sides is required
Items returned damaged due to insufficient packaging may incur additional costs or be rejected if no longer resellable.
5. Return Process
All return and exchange requests must be submitted through the Xignature Returns Portal.
If you experience a technical issue while submitting your request, please email us explaining the issue and include your order number so our team can assist.
Once submitted:
- Your request will be reviewed
- If approved, return instructions will be provided
- Return courier booking and payment will be arranged through Xignature
- The item must be returned according to the approved instructions
- Once received and inspected, we will confirm refund or exchange approval
- Approved refunds are processed within 7 to 10 working days
Customers may not arrange their own courier or return shipping. All return logistics must follow the approved Xignature return process.
Returns sent without prior approval or outside the approved return process may be refused.
6. Return Shipping Responsibility
We cover return shipping only if:
- An incorrect item was supplied
- The product arrived damaged
You are responsible for return shipping costs if:
- You changed your mind
- You ordered the wrong item
Return courier bookings and payments are coordinated through Xignature after approval.
For items over R2000 or 100 USD internationally, we ensure appropriate courier coverage through the approved return process.
We are not responsible for lost or damaged parcels that are not sent through the approved return procedure.
7. Delayed or Missing Refunds
If you have not received your refund within 10 business days after approval:
- First check with your bank or card provider
- If still unresolved, contact admin@xignatureplates.co.za
