Order Amendment Policy
This policy applies only to amendments made after an order has been placed and before it has been dispatched.
Xignature products are manufactured to order and are automatically transferred to our production facility 6 hours after an order has been placed.
Customers have a 6-hour window to submit an amendment request using the Amendment Request Form on this page. Amendment requests submitted within this period can generally be accommodated, subject to review and applicable administration fees.
Once the 6-hour period has passed, amendment requests are no longer guaranteed and may be approved or rejected at Xignature's sole discretion depending on the production status of the order. Additional administration fees apply to approved amendment requests submitted after the 6-hour period.
By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree to this policy.
IMPORTANT! Please read this policy before submitting an amendment request, as fees, approval requirements, and production restrictions apply.
Important Information
- All amendment requests must be submitted using the Xignature Amendment Request Form on this page.
- Requests submitted via email, WhatsApp, social media, live chat, telephone, or any other communication channel are not valid amendment requests.
- These departments do not have direct control over production, and production may have already started before the request reaches the production facility.
- No exceptions will be made for amendment requests submitted through alternative channels.
- Each original product is eligible for one remake only.
- Additional amendment requests for the same product will not be reviewed.
- Amendment fees apply to approved amendment requests regardless of whether production has started.
Amendment Requests Submitted Within 6 Hours
Orders are automatically transferred to our production facility 6 hours after being placed.
If an amendment request is submitted within the first 6 hours:
- The order will be placed on hold pending manual review.
- Changes can generally be accommodated.
- A R150 administration fee applies.
- The administration fee covers the amendment process only, including placing the order on hold, reviewing the request, updating production instructions, and reprocessing the order through our production systems.
- Any upgrades, additional options, premium features, or changes that increase the value of the original order will be charged separately from the administration fee.
- Production and delivery may be delayed by up to 7 days.
- The administration fee applies regardless of whether production has started.
Amendment Requests Submitted After 6 Hours
Once an order has been transferred to the production facility, amendment requests are no longer guaranteed.
Requests submitted after 6 hours will be reviewed individually and may be approved or rejected at Xignature's sole discretion.
Approval depends on factors including:
- Production status
- Material preparation
- Manufacturing progress
- Assembly status
- Packaging status
If approved:
- A R250 amendment fee applies.
- The amendment fee covers the amendment process only, including reviewing the request, updating production instructions, and reprocessing the order through our production systems.
- Any upgrades, additional options, premium features, or changes that increase the value of the original order will be charged separately from the amendment fee.
- Production and delivery may be delayed by up to 7 days.
Submitting an amendment request after 6 hours does not guarantee that changes can be made to the order.
Orders Already in Production
After the 6-hour transfer period, orders may enter production at any time.
Amendments cannot be made once any product within the order has been:
- Cut
- Assembled
- Packaged
- Completed for dispatch
At this stage, the affected product is considered in production and amendment requests relating to that product will be declined.
Customers acknowledge that production status can only be confirmed once the amendment request has been reviewed by our team.
Where an amendment is no longer possible, Xignature may, at its sole discretion, offer a remake option.
A remake is not an amendment, exchange, or replacement. It is the manufacture of a new product based on revised specifications after the original product has already entered production.
If a remake is approved, the original order will still be completed and supplied as originally ordered. The original product(s) and remake product(s) will be supplied together where possible.
Remake Requests
Where a remake option is offered and accepted:
- The remake cost is 50% of the current selling price of the replacement product.
- Production and delivery timeframes for the remake will be advised once approved.
- Each original product is eligible for one remake only.
- Remakes cannot be amended, remade, exchanged, returned, or refunded.
All remake requests are reviewed individually and approval remains at Xignature's sole discretion.
What Qualifies as an Amendment?
Examples include:
- Changing text or wording
- Changing logos or artwork
- Changing colours or finishes
- Changing slot configurations
- Changing plate mounting style
- Updating measurements
- Adding optional upgrades
Approval remains subject to production status and feasibility.

- Our team reviews the request.
- If approved, any applicable fees and additional charges will be provided.
- Once payment has been received, production instructions will be updated.
- Production will continue with the approved changes.
Submitting an amendment request does not guarantee approval.
