Your Ride. Your Signature.
At Xignature, we believe every detail matters. You drive something special, why let a flimsy plastic plate holder ruin it? We kept seeing it: seven-figure cars, detailed to perfection, finished with cracked, sun-faded plastic holders. It didn’t sit right with us, and it shouldn’t sit right with you.
The plate holder isn’t just functional. It’s the final stamp on your car’s story, a mark of pride and individuality. Frustrated by mass-produced mediocrity, we set out to reimagine what a plate holder could be, combining precision craftsmanship with the freedom to express your personal style.
The "X" in our name stands for possibility, because a Xignature Plate Holder isn’t just one thing. It’s a platform for personalization, a blank canvas for you to create something unique.
And "Signature" reflects what matters most: using that platform to leave your mark. Your car. Your style. Your signature.
Made for drivers who demand more, for those who know perfection isn’t optional, it’s the standard. Your car deserves more than average. It deserves your signature.
The Xignature Standard
Four Rules. One Purpose.
Every Xignature product is built on a quiet code, a standard that guides every cut, every curve, every detail. It’s not about making more. It’s about making it matter. From craftsmanship to expression to that unspoken OEM+ presence, these are the rules we never break, and the reason our products never blend in.

Obsessive Quality
Every Xignature product is carefully crafted by hand, precision-cut with precision, and finished to perfection. We work to micromillimetres, not margins. No stickers. No rough edges. Just clean lines, flawless fitment, and obsessive quality in every detail.

Refined Identity
Every Xignature product is refined for identity, crafted to reflect the person behind the wheel. From the product series you choose to the badge you display, it’s all about intention. Clean, subtle, precise. A product that blends into your car’s aesthetic, yet still leaves your mark. Because true individuality doesn’t need to shout. It just needs to be yours.

Factory+ Styling
Factory doesn’t mean boring, it means balance. Each Xignature piece is designed to look like it belongs. Built to OEM standards, but with elevated detail, premium finishes, and a cleaner aesthetic. It’s not aftermarket. It’s how the factory should have done it.

The X-Factor
Every Xignature product is built with intent, from finish to fitment to the fine restraint. It’s designed to look like it came from the factory, only better. Subtle enough to feel stock. Sharp enough to make enthusiasts ask: “Is this a special edition?”
This is the X-ignature Factor, that unspoken detail that turns heads, earns respect, and elevates your car without saying a word.
Every Idea Starts with a Flaw You Can’t Ignore.
The Xignature Timeline
We’ve always cared about the details; the wheels, the lighting, the way every line comes together. But somehow, the plate holder never got the same attention. We kept seeing incredible cars, finished off with brittle, sun-faded plastic holders. And once we saw it, we couldn’t ignore it. It wasn’t just an oversight. It was an opportunity.

Early 2023
The Flaw We Couldn't Ignore
People spend months perfecting wheels, wings, colours, and emblems, but the plate holder always got overlooked. Cheap plastic, warped in the sun, stamped with dealer logos. It didn’t belong on an enthusiast’s car. Once we noticed, we couldn’t ignore it.
No one had fixed it. So we started.
What began as frustration turned into a mission. We explored materials, sketched ideas, and studied how cars are designed, panel flow, surface balance, visual weight. Could the plate holder be treated with the same precision?
That question changed everything.

Mid 2023
Where It Started
We didn’t rush to production. We slowed down, because changing something this visible, this permanent, meant it had to be done right.
The rest of the year was spent laying the groundwork: sketching early concepts, measuring real cars, and testing materials that felt more architectural than automotive. Every design decision was guided by surface balance, depth, and alignment, borrowing from the same visual discipline found in modern vehicle design.
By the end of the year, we had direction. We were no longer asking what if. We were building a plate holder that looked like it was always meant to be there.

Entire 2024
The Foundation Year
We started the year with our first functional prototype, oversized and unrefined, but it proved the concept. Over the next few months, we developed three early versions, refining proportions, materials, and how the holder sat on the car.
By June, we launched the Gen 1 Plate Holder range, which consisted of standard screw-mount plate holders and quick-release magnetic plate holders, both built with universal slots and an on-frame design.
The rest of the year was spent getting the word out and reaching our first customers, gathering valuable feedback that shaped future improvements.

Early 2025
Built Better
This year we took everything we’d learned and built a completely new system. In May, we released the Gen 2 Plate Holder Range, all redesigned with our new patented two-tone framed design, offering a cleaner finish and more integrated design language across the board:
- Standard Plate Holder Series: The classic screw plate mount option
- Pro Plate Holder Series: A New hybrid screw and magnetic plate mount option.
We also introduced our Showplates, built for photography, display, and clean visual content, designed to fit seamlessly into our plate holders.

Mid 2025
The Next Evolution
With the foundation perfected, we turned our attention to something more ambitious: the Pro-X Plate Holder Series.
Our most advanced plate holder to date, it carries forward the same refined design language, clean lines, factory-level fitment, and premium finish, but introduces an innovative new feature that unlocks a new level of versatility and personalization.
It’s more than a plate holder, it’s the beginning of something interactive.
Launching Q3 2025.
"This is my third order from Xignature. I’ve used their holders on two personal cars and now on a client’s RS5. What keeps me coming back is the consistency, every product is well made, packaging is neat, and delivery is quick. Genuinely impressed."
— Melissa Rautenbach
"Didn’t think a number plate holder would make a difference, but here I am. My mate fitted one and it just made his car look... cleaner. Ended up getting mine a week later. Super easy to install, feels premium, and I like that you can choose your own badge. Slick product."
— Mohammed Pillay
"I’ve always hated the plastic number plate holders. These guys clearly get it. Their frame actually works with the car’s lines. Looks factory, but better. And good riddance to the dealership branding, finally."
— Trevor van Wyk
"There’s plate holders, and then there’s whatever this is. I’ve tried cheap ones, imported ones, you name it, none of them come close. This thing feels engineered. Solid mount, zero flex, even the finishing is on point. It’s the kind of product that shows someone actually gave a damn.
— Jason Meyer
"Just wanted to say thanks to the lady who helped me on Email. I ordered the wrong logo and she sorted it quickly, no fuss. That kind of service is rare these days. Got my holder two days later, fits perfect."
— Buhle Ndebe
