Holder to Vehicle Fitment
Each Xignature Plate Holder comes standard with strong adhesive strips for a clean installation with no drilling or visible screw holes.
- Clean the mounting surface on your vehicle
- Remove the protective film from the adhesive strips
- Position the holder carefully
- Press firmly to secure
For best results, apply steady pressure for 60 seconds and allow 12 hours before driving.
Optional Upgrade
Screw Mount: Adds mounting slots with bolts and self-tapping screws for secure installation to your vehicle.
This upgrade must be selected when ordering and cannot be added afterward.
Plate to Holder Fitment
Each Xignature Plate Holder comes standard with 4 stainless steel screws and an Allen key for secure plate fitment.
- Insert your number plate into the holder
- Align and insert the screws
- Fasten using the Allen key
Compatible with number plates between 1mm and 5mm thick.
Optional Upgrade
Magnetic Plate System: Replaces screw fitment with a magnetic connection for quick plate removal.
This upgrade must be selected when ordering and cannot be added afterward.
Plate Size Compatibility
Each Xignature Plate Holder comes standard in the SA Long format (520mm × 113mm), the most common South African registration plate size, ensuring a clean, balanced OEM+ fit straight out the box.
If your vehicle uses a different plate format, you can select the Plate Holder Size Adjustment Upgrade:

Plate Holder Finish
Each Xignature Plate Holder features a refined two-tone finish, known as our Xignature Obsidian Duo finish, a Gloss Black outer frame paired with a Graphite inner and emblem surround, delivering a clean OEM+ look straight out the box.
If you prefer a different look, you can select the Plate Holder Finish Upgrade when placing your order. This upgrade allows you to choose from the following finishes:
- Full Graphite Matte Black
- Full Gloss Black
- Custom Finish (Material Dependent)
Custom finishes are based on available material colours. Exact colour matching is not offered, as this is not a printed product.
The Plate Holder Finish Upgrade only affects the holder body. Emblem and writing colours will be produced as selected on your original plate holder order.
This upgrade must be selected together with your plate holder, as it is prepared during production and cannot be added or modified afterward.

Will the Plate Holders fit my car and plates?
Yes. Our standard fit is the South African Long plate size of 520 x 113 mm, which is used on most modern cars.
If your plates are a different size, you must purchase a plate holder size upgrade so we can resize your holder to the correct plate size. If you are unsure which size you have, you are welcome to send us a photo and measurements and we will guide you.
How long will my order take?
Orders placed from Friday to Thursday are typically manufactured and shipped on Friday (approximately 1–5 working days, depending on when your order is placed). This aligns with our Monday to Thursday production schedule, followed by quality checks, packaging, and dispatch on Fridays. This timeline applies to standard plate holders available on our website.
Orders that include special requests, custom modifications, or unique designs may require additional time (approximately 5–10 working days). While we aim to keep them within the same weekly cycle, they may only be completed and dispatched the following Friday to allow for proper design, testing, and quality control.
Please note: These lead times refer to production and dispatch only and do not include shipping or delivery times.
Delays may also occur if we require additional information and do not receive a timely response.
Can I return my order?
Yes, we offer a 14-day return window on standard, non-custom or modified products. Items must be unused, uninstalled, and returned in original packaging, with the request submitted through our Returns Portal.
Custom or personalised products cannot be returned once production has started.
If approved for change of mind or incorrect selection, a 25% handling and restocking fee applies. Return shipping is only covered if the item was incorrect or arrived damaged.
