All Xignature Plate Holders are supplied standard with screw mounting hardware for fitting your registration plate to the holder.

Each holder includes 4 mounting screws and an Allen key for quick and secure installation.

This mounting system is designed to provide a clean OEM+ appearance while securely holding the plate during daily driving conditions.

This upgrade allows you to replace the standard screw mounting system with an alternative plate-to-holder mounting method during production.

Please note: Selecting this upgrade will override any Plate-to-Holder Mounting option selected on the plate holder product page.

Magnetic Mounting Information

The magnetic plate mounting system allows the plate to be removed and reinstalled in seconds while maintaining a clean and subtle appearance.

The magnetic system is designed to remain visually discreet, meaning most people will not realise the holder uses a magnetic mounting system.

This option is popular among enthusiasts who regularly remove plates for car photography, detailing, car shows, or track use.

Important Legal Notice: For full legal compliance, we recommend selecting the Pop Rivet mounting option.

The magnetic plate mounting system is intended for enthusiast and convenience use only and is used entirely at the customer's own risk.

No plate mounting method besides permanent rivet mounting can be guaranteed as fully legally compliant in all situations or jurisdictions.

Important Notes

  • This is an upgrade only and does not include a physical plate holder
  • Must be purchased together with a Xignature Plate Holder in the same order
  • Upgrades purchased separately from plate holders will not be applied and may be refunded
  • This upgrade is custom manufactured to order
  • Once production has started, the configuration cannot be changed or added afterward
  • All customized upgrades are non-refundable once applied to production

Will the Plate Holders fit my car and plates?

Yes. Our standard fit is the South African Long plate size of 520 x 113 mm, which is used on most modern cars.

If your plates are a different size, you must purchase a plate holder size upgrade so we can resize your holder to the correct plate size. If you are unsure which size you have, you are welcome to send us a photo and measurements and we will guide you.

How long will my order take?

Orders placed from Friday to Thursday are typically manufactured and shipped on Friday (approximately 1–5 working days, depending on when your order is placed). This aligns with our Monday to Thursday production schedule, followed by quality checks, packaging, and dispatch on Fridays. This timeline applies to standard plate holders available on our website.

Orders that include special requests, custom modifications, or unique designs may require additional time (approximately 5–10 working days). While we aim to keep them within the same weekly cycle, they may only be completed and dispatched the following Friday to allow for proper design, testing, and quality control.

Please note: These lead times refer to production and dispatch only and do not include shipping or delivery times.

Delays may also occur if we require additional information and do not receive a timely response.

Can I return my order?

Yes, we offer a 14-day return window on standard, non-custom or modified products. Items must be unused, uninstalled, and returned in original packaging, with the request submitted through our Returns Portal.

Custom or personalised products cannot be returned once production has started.

If approved for change of mind or incorrect selection, a 25% handling and restocking fee applies. Return shipping is only covered if the item was incorrect or arrived damaged.
